New Terrapet® Material Improves Your Packaging’s Sustainability

Posted by

Always with an eye on the environment, Do-It Corporation is proud to announce the addition of TerraPET® plastic. Supplied by Klöckner Pentaplast, the film is made partially from renewable resource content to help you meet your sustainable packaging goals.

TerraPET® lets you replace fossil-fuel-based material with up to 30% plant-based material without sacrificing any of PET’s high-performance qualities. The film is made, in part, from the sugar production waste stream. One plant can yield two to four harvests, making it a rapidly renewable crop.

  • Won’t crack, break, scratch or discolor.
  • Provides the same brilliant cosmetic clarity and performance properties as standard APET films.
  • Is chemically the same as PET and can be recycled in communities where PET non-bottle rigid plastics are accepted for recycling.

Do-It Corporation is always looking for ways to improve our product and lower our impact on the environment. From source reduction ideas to plastic choices such as our new TerraPET® to other material improvements, we always strive to make a difference.
